Payment Methods
We accept most major Credit / Debit Cards, Purchasing Cards, Cheques, Bank Transfers (BACS), International Money Orders (IMO), Google Checkout and PayPal. In certain circumstances we will allow Cash on Collection (must be arranged prior to ordering) We also allow order by Purchase Order from Local Authorities, Government Agencies, certain Educational Establishments and the like. At checkout you are able to submit a Purchase Order Number and we will invoice you with the goods for payment on 30 days.

Our site is totally secure and no Credit / Debit Card details are held on our servers, we also use 128bit encryption. However, If you're still not comfortable with using your Credit / Debit Card online you can still order on the website and select a call back at checkout; once we have received your order a member of our sales team will contact you via telephone to take your card details. Orders are dispatched on clearance of funds.

We also allow order by Purchase Order from Local Authorities, Government Agencies, certain Educational Establishments and the like. At checkout you are able to submit a Purchase Order Number and we will invoice you with the goods for payment on a 30 day basis. All prices listed on our site exclude VAT. Our website will work out the VAT for you at checkout before asking for payment. VAT is only charged to orders shipped within the UK. VAT will not be applicable if you are outside the EU Charging zone or if you are the holder of an EURO VAT number which excludes you from paying VAT in the UK. You will be given chance before checkout to enter the Euro VAT number to exclude you from paying VAT if applicable, this is worked out automatically by the shopping cart software, based on the country of delivery of the goods.

Shipping

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges apply to all orders. Shipping rates are based on size, weight, cost of goods, type of goods and destination area or country. Our minimum shipping charge is £5.99 which ensures your order is handled with care, delivered on time, is fully insured and traceable through the courier system and our website. Our website will work out the correct shipping charge for your order at checkout before asking for payment.


Shipping Destinations
We often ship orders around the world so regardless of where you are we can probably get the order to you. Delivery can be made to your home, workplace or anywhere you wish. Certain Credit / Debit Card payment services require that we ship the goods to the registered card holder address only, please ask if you are unsure whether you can use an alternative address or not.


Delivery Days & Times
We dispatch orders Monday to Friday (except UK public holidays). Standard delivery days are Monday to Friday although we can also deliver on Saturdays at an additional cost. If you need your order before 12 or before 9 we can arrange this too, simply call us with your delivery requirements and we will quote you a set delivery charge. We aim to dispatch all order within a maximum of 5 working days. Standard delivery to the UK Mainland is Next Day (ex Islands and Highlands of Scotland). International deliveries can take several days are we are happy to estimate a delivery date for your order. Any special order items or items that are on longer delivery will be notified to the customer on receipt of order. These include items such as those that need calibrating before dispatch, ie gas detectors. If time is of the essence on delivery please email  or call us 0844 567 2609 and we will be happy to give you a specific delivery time. Please Note! Import duties are occasionally required by the receiving country customs, we are not responsible for this element and do not quote or charge for it in our prices and quotations. All orders can be tracked online automatically from the Home Page of this site.


Missing Part or Full Delivery

Sometimes we will dispatch orders in more than one part or in more than one package. If you receive a delivery and some items are missing please see the invoice / packing slip to see if we have sent you a part-order or if the order is in more than one box. If we send a part-order we will normally notify you via email the day it leaves us stating what you should expect to receive and what will follow soon. If you have received a dispatch note via email but no parcel has arrived when expected drop us an email  or call us 0844 567 2609 and we'll be happy to track the order and keep you up to date.


Goods Damaged
While we take great care in checking your goods and packaging them correctly unfortunately from time to time some goods do get damaged in transit. When we dispatch your goods we will send you an email to let you know and remind you to sign for the goods as "unchecked" - This allows insurance claims for damaged goods to be dealt with more efficiently. If you have received damaged goods don't panic - if you're not happy with your order when it arrives neither are we. All we ask is that you take the earliest opportunity to inspect and test your goods and if you find a problem let us know via email  or call us 0844 567 2609

Ownership and Risk
- The risk in Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods or upon the Goods being appropriated to the Buyer but kept at the Seller's premises at the Buyer's request.
- The Seller remains the owner of the Goods affected by the Contract until the Seller has been paid in full for such Goods.
- If any payment due under these Conditions is overdue in whole or in part, the Seller may without prejudice to any of its other rights recover and/or re-sell the Goods or any of them and may enter on the Buyer's premises by its servants or agents to recover the Goods and the Buyer shall be liable for all Seller's costs in doing so.
- If the Buyer is a consumer and properly rejects any of the Goods which are not in accordance with the Contract, the Buyer shall nonetheless pay the full price for such Goods unless the Buyer promptly gives notice of rejection to the Seller and at the Buyer's costs return such goods to the Seller in good condition.
- In the case of any other sale the Buyer shall inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and shall notify the Seller within five days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with the Contract.
- Any Goods in respect of which any claim of defect or damage is made shall be preserved by the Buyer intact together with the original packing and the Buyer's risk and either,
a) retained by the Buyer for a reasonable period to enable the Seller or its agent to inspect or collect the Goods or
b) at the Seller's option returned by the Buyer to the Seller who will refund the cost of postage and packing to the Buyer if the Goods are in fact defective.

Cancellation Returns
- No Contract shall be cancelled nor shall any Goods which are in accordance with the Contract be returned without the prior written approval of the Seller and on terms to be determined at the absolute discretion of the Seller.
- Unless the Seller at its discretion decides otherwise, if the Seller agrees to accept the return of any such Goods then,
a) a Goods Return Note obtained from the Seller must be clearly shown on the returning parcels
b) the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying any damage to the Goods returned where such damage has, in the opinion of the Seller, been caused by the goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer or through the Buyer's fault
c) the Seller reserves the right to make a handling and restocking charge of 25% on Goods which are returned unused if they were ordered in error or are no longer required.
d) the Seller will inspect the returned Goods within 3 working days of receipt and where due approve for any refund.
- Refunds will be made within 14 working days of,
a) the order cancellation date where no Goods have been dispatched
b) returned Goods approved for refund.

Please Note: we are not able to take back or refund any software that has already been downloaded by the customer or where a Licence code has been issued already to the customer. We do not allow returns on any GPS equipment and/or GPS software.

Security Information
The Google Checkout and Paypal payment systems uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, our public web servers are certified by RomanCart 128bit encryption, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate  to obtain confidential information.

  • Transaction Encryption
    The transfer of the purchase details from the retailers site to Paypal are encapsulated using our own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof via SSL.
     
  • Security for the Shopper
    Any communication between the shopper and Paypal is also encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the shopper's browser using 128 Bit SSL. Shoppers are also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuers provide the right for shopper to dispute a transaction if the goods/services did not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.
     
  • Data Storage
    Data storage on RomanCart and Paypal systems, and the communication between these systems and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. We also ensure that we stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code we use, and continually review our own proprietary code.

Force Majeure
- The Seller will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that the Seller is prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any Goods for any reason or cause beyond the Seller's control.

No Waiver
- The Seller's failure to insist upon strict performance of any provision of these Conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of its rights or remedies in respect of any present or future default of the Buyer in performance or compliance with any of these conditions.

Liability
- Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Hire Terms and Conditions

THE GOODS, HIRE ORDERS AND AVAILABILITY
The display of any Goods on the Hire section of this site is an invitation for you to offer to hire them, it is not an offer to purchase them at the listed price. If you place an order for Goods subsequent to viewing items on this site, it shall be an offer to hire them and shall be subsequent to acceptance by Mobile CAD Surveying Limited. Mobile CAD Surveying Limited reserves the right to reject any order or to cancel any order (whether or not it has been confirmed by us and your credit card charged) if the Goods are unavailable or for any other reason (such as without limit if the Goods have been displayed at an incorrect hire rate due to a typographical or other error). If we cannot deliver any part of your order we will inform you and we may offer you an alternative product. If the alternative is not acceptable or none is available or offered then we will refund you for any payments made for undelivered Goods. 

DELIVERY CHARGES AND HIRE RATES
The total cost of your order is equal to the rate of the items ordered plus delivery. We reserve the right to vary the rates displayed on the Site and/or the delivery charges without prior notice. All our rates are quoted in pounds sterling and exclude United Kingdom VAT at the rate current at the rate of order. We may from time to time make special rate offers available. If you are interested in taking up such offers then you should do so at the time that you see it, as we may withdraw the ability to take advantage of such offers at any time without notice.

PAYMENT
Payment for the goods which you wish to hire can be made via cheque, credit and debit cards or BACS. Items which are purchased and not hired can be cancelled and goods can be returned that may already have been dispatched up to 7 days from receipt (see return policy). Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. This does not apply to goods that have been hired and delivery accepted. Please see our terms and conditions of hire. 

INDEMNITY
You agree to fully indemnify and keep Mobile CAD Surveying Limited and its associates, affiliates, officers, agents, partners and employees, fully indemnified from and against all liabilities, claims, actions, expenses or demand, costs (on a full indemnity basis) made by any third party due to or arising out of your use or misuse of the Site, your connection to the Site or your breach of these terms of sale. 

These Conditions shall be construed in accordance with English Law.
