Leica DistoTripod

The Leica tripod has been design for the Leica Distos D3, D5, D8, A5, A6 and A8 models.

When measuring with the Leica Disto over long distances or with the Pythagoras function (roofers, cladding and solar panel installers) the user is recommended to use a tripod to achieve the maximum measuring accuracy.

The design of the tripod provides a solid design with stiffened robust legs, tilting head and crank drive to raise or lower the tripods telescope column.

Leica TA360 Tripod Adapter

This bracket is designed to fit directly onto the Leica TRI 100 Tripod (with an adapter it will fit on other tripods, please contact us for further details) and offers the perfect solution for Leica DISTO™ users who wish to take advantage of the remote measurement functions in both the horizontal and vertical axis.

When combined with the Leica DISTO™ D5 and D8 the Leica Geosystems package (TA360 and TRI 100) offers the perfect tools for measuring distances indoors and outside. The TA360 is designed to make best use of their indirect measurement functions offering a new solution to fulfill even the most complicated measuring tasks including measuring roofs for solar panels.

You can mount your Leica DISTO™ directly onto the Tilt Head of any tripod however when you move the head in either a vertical or horizontal direction the movement in not pivoted around the back of the Leica DISTO™ but a point elsewhere on the tripod.

The result of this is that your Leica DISTO™ is not measuring from one fixed position and you end up with increased errors in your results.

The new TA360 bracket is designed to tilt and rotate around a fixed point on the rear of your Leica DISTO™ and greatly increases the accuracy of the measurements taken.

This makes the TA360 Adaptor ideal for measuring the dimensions and angles of roofs and many other circumstances where it is difficult to gain access to measure directly.

360° tilt sensor
The combination of angle and distance measurements allows you to determine distances where conventional methods fail. The horizontal distance, for example, can also be determined quickly and efficiently past obstacles or the elevation of a tree, even though there is no reflective point.?

Digital Point finder
Thanks to the digital Point finder with its 4x zoom and high resolution 2,4“ colour display, you can measure long range distances quickly and easily because you always see your targeted point.

BLUETOOTH®
With integrated BLUETOOTH® technology, measurement results can be wirelessly and accurately transferred to Pocket PCs and PCs. Thus you can easily process your data in Excel®, Word®, AutoCAD® and other programs.

Free software
The delivery package contains the transfer software “Leica DISTO™ Transfer” – easy to install and with automatic updates. The AutoCAD® plug-in additionally allows convenient planning and drawing with your AutoCAD® software.
